We are recruiting a Senior Commercial Analyst to be responsible for maintaining and updating a financial pricing and cost model which Affinity has compiled to support its proposal for a significant uplift to its primary contract. The position is expected to engage with the customer to clarify any query concerning Affinity’s proposal and be a key member of Affinity’s bidding team, negotiating on various elements of Affinity’s price proposal with the customer. This role will also be responsible for overseeing adjustments to Affinity’s financial projections for its Lenders and engaging with the various stakeholders in respect of certain aspects around Affinity’s proposal.
Affinity Flying Services are contracted as the Fixed Wing Service Provider under the UKMFTS PFI Contract. We will provide Aircraft to be used by the Military to deliver Elementary Flying Training (EFT) and Multi Engine Flying Training with both EASA and MAA Part M and Part 145 approvals across multiple sites.
To be considered for this position, it is essential for you to have:
- Experienced in the preparation of pricing inputs for bids and tenders.
- High degree of commercial awareness.
- Ability to analyse complex data and make recommendations that support and improve the tendering/bid preparation process.
- Educated to degree level with a significant quantitative component.
This is a full-time fixed term position based on 40 hours a week.
