We are currently looking for a part time HR Administrator to join our small team at RAF Cranwell. This role is predominantly to support the HR operation of the business and will report to the HR Business Partner. The responsibilities are varied and will include day to day administration tasks as well as an involvement in business projects and initiatives. The main responsibilities as the team administrator will be to maintain and update employee records, as well as manage various HR documents and internal databases, such as holiday and leave.
The HR Administrator will act as the first port of call to employees for all HR related queries and will handle the majority of employee documentation, including contracts, recruitment adverts, paperwork and starter packs. An understanding and knowledge of employment law, ensuring the HR department conforms would be beneficial but not essential.
It is expected that this role will also include support for the operational support function specifically covering day to day reception duties and travel bookings.
To be considered for this position, it is essential for you to have:
- Previously worked in an office environment in a similar administrative role.
- Experience of multi-tasking and managing competing priorities, being organised and able to prioritise is vital
- Good communicative and relationship building skills, as you will work with various people across the whole business
- Forward thinking and proactive and be able to share ideas as new initiatives are introduced
This is a part-time permanent position based on 20 hours a week.
