We are currently looking for a Head of Maintenance to join our team at Cranwell. The Head of Maintenance is responsible to the Engineering Delivery Director for the satisfactory completion and certification of all engineering activities carried out within the Affinity EASA 145 environment. The Head of Maintenance will be the nominated EASA 145 Form 4 holder. The role is responsible for ensuring that the organisation’s 145 maintenance policies and procedures are complied with when carrying out all maintenance of the Affinity fleets.
The Head of Maintenance is also responsible for setting the 145 training standards and technical competence for all staff within the 145 and AEA environments. In order to assure confidence that the staff are suitably qualified experienced personnel the Head of Maintenance is to manage all 145 and AEA approvals. Where there are known gaps, they are to work with the Head of Operations, Affinity Training Manager and Head of Human Resources to develop training strategies and programmes to maintain our SQEP balance.
You will possess a desire to contribute to the success and growth of our business. To be considered for this position, it is essential for you to have a Degree in Aeronautical Engineering and/or suitable aviation experience to hold a CAA Form 4.

Affinity Flying Services are contracted as the Fixed Wing Service Provider under the UKMFTS PFI Contract. We will provide Aircraft to be used by the Military to deliver Elementary Flying Training (EFT) and Multi Engine Flying Training with both EASA and MAA Part M and Part 145 approvals across multiple sites.
