We are currently looking for an Interim Aircraft Availability Improvement Project Manager to join our team at Cranwell for a period of 6 months. This role will be responsible for the effective programme management of a range of projects aimed at improving the productivity, availability, reliability and output of Affinity’s aircraft fleet and a range of other business improvement initiatives. This role will be directly responsible to the Engineering Delivery Director for each project’s delivery schedule, internal and external reporting, Key Performance Indications (KPI) measurement, leadership and conflict resolution between projects and supporting new initiative business cases. The role will require good relationship management skills and the ability to effectively work with both internal and external stakeholders.

Affinity Flying Services are contracted as the Fixed Wing Service Provider under the UKMFTS PFI Contract. We will provide Aircraft to be used by the Military to deliver Elementary Flying Training (EFT) and Multi Engine Flying Training with both EASA and MAA Part M and Part 145 approvals across multiple sites.

To be considered for this position, it is essential for you to have a recognised APM Practitioner qualification or verifiable evidence of the management of complex programmes.  An ability to understand the effects of aircraft maintenance regime activities on aircraft availability is also required.
