Sunday 22nd September saw the first ever Ride4JET commencing from RAF Cranwell. This 50/80 mile cycle challenge saw the riders tackle the country lanes of rural Lincolnshire, with the finish line back at RAF Cranwell. Hundreds of riders took part and helped raise vital funding for The Jon Egging Trust. Our Lead Stores Coordinator from our Cranwell site took part in the 50mile route in an amazing 3hrs and 16mins. Well done to all those who took part and raised funds for this worthy trust. The Jon Egging Trust (JET) was set up in memory of Red Arrows pilot Jon Egging who tragically lost his life at the Bournemouth Air Festival. Jon was passionate about inspiring young people through his love of flying. The Jon Egging Trust realises his dream of supporting young people to reach their full potential. Affinity are proud to support JET in their fundraising and youth schemes and we are looking forward to working with them again in 2020.
