On Saturday 13 June, aircraft supported by Affinity took part in the King's Birthday Flypast, which marked the Official Birthday of His Majesty King Charles III as part of the Trooping the Colour celebrations in London.
The flypast showcased a range of Royal Air Force aircraft and was watched by thousands of people in London and millions more across television and online coverage.
We were pleased to support aircraft involved in this year's event, including the Phenom 100 at RAF Cranwell and Texan T6C aircraft at RAF Valley.
Supporting the Flypast
Across our sites in Lincolnshire and Anglesey, our teams worked alongside military colleagues and partners to help ensure aircraft were ready to support the event.
From engineering and maintenance activity through to operational planning and coordination, the flypast reflected the commitment and professionalism of colleagues across both sites. It was a great example of teams working together to support a nationally significant occasion.
