Are you passionate about aviation and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and professionalism? We’re looking for an Aircraft Technician to join our Part 145 Engineering team and support the maintenance and continued airworthiness of our aircraft fleet.

As an Aircraft Technician, you will work under the supervision of Licensed Aircraft Engineers, carrying out maintenance activities within your scope of training and competence while ensuring compliance with approved maintenance data, regulatory requirements and company procedures.

Working Pattern: This role operates on a rotating early and late shift pattern. However, flexibility is required, as shift patterns may change in line with business and operational needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting scheduled maintenance activities and defect rectification.
  • Carrying out authorised pre-flight, post-flight and aircraft servicing tasks.
  • Completing maintenance documentation accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Working to approved maintenance data and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining excellent housekeeping, tool control and FOD prevention standards.
  • Supporting aircraft movements and operational activities as required.
  • Reporting hazards, incidents and safety concerns through established reporting processes.
  • Applying Human Factors principles and promoting a positive safety culture.
  • Undertaking training and continuation training to maintain competence and professional development.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Understanding of UK CAA Part-145 regulations and requirements.
  • Experience using hand tools and test equipment.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships within a highly regulated environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths, English and a Science-based subject.
  • Recognised Aircraft Maintenance Apprenticeship, City & Guilds Part 2, NVQ Level 2, or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience working within a UK CAA Part-145 organisation.
  • Knowledge of aircraft structures, mechanical systems, electrical systems and powerplants.
  • Experience completing aircraft maintenance records.
  • Composite repair and/or sheet metal experience.
  • Familiarity with maintenance software such as AMOS, RAL or Envision.
  • UK CAA Part-66 Category A Licence.
  • Human Factors, EWIS, Fuel Tank Safety and SMS training.
