On 1 February 2026, we proudly celebrated 10 years of delivering safe, reliable and mission‑ready aircraft services that support the Royal Air Force’s pilot training pipeline. Since launching in 2016, we’ve grown from a team of seven into a nationwide workforce of 200+ employees making a real impact on UK military flying training.
A Decade of Growth and Nation‑Wide Delivery
Over the past decade, we’ve expanded our operations across the UK, supporting pilot training at RAF Cranwell, RAF Barkston Heath and RAF Valley.
Throughout this time, we’ve consistently delivered aircraft and support for:
- Elementary Flying Training (EFT)
- Basic Flying Training (BFT)
- Multi‑Engine Pilot Training (MEPT)
using our Beechcraft Texan, Embraer Phenom and Grob Prefect fleets.
By 2025, we surpassed 90,000 flying training hours, and we’re well on our way to reaching 100,000 hours! This milestone demonstrates our commitment to reliability, availability, and operational excellence.
Supporting the Next Generation of RAF Pilots
Our work directly contributes to strengthening the UK Military Flying Training System (UKMFTS). We’re proud to support hundreds of trainee pilots as they progress through their training journeys, ensuring they have access to safe, mission‑ready aircraft whenever needed.
Celebrating Together Under Concorde
On 28 February, we brought our people together from across the UK to celebrate the anniversary beneath the iconic Concorde at the Concorde Conference Centre.
Powered by Our People
Everything we’ve achieved is down to the dedication, skill and passion of our teams. Over the last decade, our engineering and operational workforce has received multiple accolades for delivery excellence and aircraft availability, recognition that speaks to the high standards we live by every day.
“Affinity’s success over the past 10 years has been driven by our people‑led approach… the business has remained focused on delivering safe, reliable and timely services for our country.” Iain Chalmers, Managing Director.
