22 Jul Sharing knowledge with the Jon Egging Trust
Over the last two months Affinity has teamed up with the Jon Egging Trust to offer a group of ten 17-year-old students from the JET Inspirational Outreach programme the opportunity to take part in a programme of Employability Workshops.
The three lessons provided the students with an insight and understanding into the world of work, cv’s, cover letters and interview techniques. These interactive sessions led by Affinity employees alongside JET Youth Liaison Officers allowed the students to gain a deeper understanding of the business world and what steps they can take to successfully take the leap into the world of work. The students also had the opportunity to visit the Affinity facilities on RAF Cranwell air base, and view and learn all about the aircraft.
JET Inspirational Outreach provides bespoke impact days or a short series of sessions to young people aged 7+ according to the needs identified by schools. JET reaches 1000’s of young people in each region where they work through inspirational visits, talks, lessons and trips. We are honoured to have supported JET this year by providing these students with vital business skills and knowledge. We wish all the students the best of luck with their future endeavours.
